Henry's Lake Fishing Report
This week's fishing report just gets better than the last. Even though the damsel hatch is on its decline on Henry's there is still a lot of fish being caught. I know all you have heard is that it's slow and no one's catching fish. Maybe you have even experienced one or two of those slow days. However, Bill is still catching fish which means the fish are in the water just waiting to be caught. For instance this last week Bill caught several fish into the 29 to 32 inch and about 12lbs to 14lbs range. A lot of fish are being caught in that 1 and 2 year old fish class as well. Even though they are not big and feisty as the 12 lbs hybrid it's an indication of what is coming for next year. Look for next year to be awesome.
This weeks fishing, look to catch fish in that 5' to 11' of water. Make sure you have your supply of flies including the Mighty Mouse, Brown Crystal, Henry's Lake Renegade and those olive type damsel patterns. Scud patterns or some midge patterns are worth a try as well.
Best fishing try off Staley's, Targee Creek and over at Duck Creek. Let's get out there and catch some fish. The middle of the lake still has some fish that are active. If more information is needed please stop in at BS Flies for all the latest information. Both Bill and I will be on the lake this week stop by and say hi.
